Instructions
Apply topspin to the ball by twisting your wrist counterclockwise over the top of the ball as you swing. This makes it more difficult for Lucia to return the shot when you are on the offensive.
Apply backspin to the ball by twisting your wrist clockwise underneath the ball as you swing. The ball will hang in the air, slowing the flow of the game until you get a good shot.
Center the Wiimote after you make each shot. Hold it toward the center of your body, so the onscreen racket is centered. This way, you are equally capable of returning shots on either side of the table.
"Smash" the ball early on good return shots in an effort to get the ball past Lucia. This requires you to swing hard at the ball with a slight downward motion. Hit the ball as soon as possible after it bounces.
Serve the ball by throwing it up into the air, then hitting it right as it reaches its highest point. Add some topspin to your serve by twisting your wrist counterclockwise over the ball as you swing the Wiimote. This forces Lucia to back away from the table, giving you time to prepare for her return shot.
