Practice the basic controls before starting the game. The only way to beat the game is knowing the remote controls. According to Game FAQs, the basic controls are moving the nun chuck control stick for moving, the control pad to move camera angles, A for jump, B to attack, the negative symbol picks up objects and Z on the nun chuck to block. Combination controls include Z and the control stick movement to dodge and Z and B or Z and the negative symbol to counterattack. Give the Wii remote a shake to attack, move the nun chuck to stumble attack, lift the nun chuck and remote upward to stop a stumble and use a fast flicking motion with the remote to throw things.
Go through all of the levels. The panda needs training before he is ready to face Tai Lung in the arena battle.
Watch for on screen directions. The game will give on screen directions and controls during some battles, such as the battle where the legendary warriors try to fight Tai Lung. These are special instructions to control players that are not the panda.
Play the boss battles. Most of the battles are simple and require nothing more than paying attention for scrolls with directions, hitting the boss a few times and dodging the attacks by either jumping over them or moving to the side, depending on the boss. Most of the bosses will have a moment of relaxation or a pause after attacks and this is the time to attack. If there are minions in a boss battle, beat the minions and then beat the boss.
Use the stumble attack against Tai Lung. Tai Lung is the final boss and when playing Po, the panda, the best attack is stumble attack. Stumble as often as possible and eventually he is beaten. It takes a total of four stages to beat Tai Lung in the final battle.
