How to Get a 50 in Team Snipers

In "Halo 3," your rank displays through two primary ratings. The first rating, your general rank, is present in any game mode you play. This rank determines your location in matchmaking games and lets other players know your basic skill level. Your secondary rank is specific to game modes and can vary widely from your main rank. All ranks are measured on a scale from 1 to 50. New players usually have lower ranks, and only the best and most experienced can reach 50. Team Snipers is a specific "Halo 3" game mode that assigns a unique rank only obtainable while playing in that specific playlist.

  Win as many matches as possible on the Team Snipers playlist. Winning matches translates to big rank boosts, and only the best teams and players can get to rank 50.

  Support your team. Because victory is very important to your rank, you must act as a team player and avoid attempts to amass the highest body count on the scoreboard. Always focus on winning rather than personal stats, when trying to raise your rank in Team Snipers game mode.

  Watch for weekends in which experience gains double. Bungie often holds double-XP events that can help you rise rapidly in Team Snipers ranks. Bungie's home page lists event announcements.

  Try to outperform players of higher ranks. Rank gains are calculated based on your wins and performance, but they also depend on the ranks of your opponents. Consistent victories over higher-ranked players will increase your personal ranking.
