How to Angle Harrier Strike in CoD 4

Released for the Xbox 360 in 2007, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" was the first "Call of Duty" game to take place in a modern context instead of World War II battlefields. With these new environments came all the trappings of high-tech warfare: heavy firepower, superior communication and advanced support options, such as the harrier air strike during the campaign mission "Heat" (otherwise known as "Weathering the Storm"). And while harrier strike can dole out a serious amount of damage, you must use it strategically to provide yourself a proper angle of escape.

Instructions

- 1
  Move to the farmhouse at the end of the mission "Weathering the Storm." Use the Javelin weapon to blow up the enemy tanks. You will then be given three minutes to escape down through the village as the Russian army approaches, and you'll also be given 10 airstrikes.

  Target the field south of the barn and call in one to two airstrikes depending on the number of enemies left. Wait for the strikes, then head move out to the field.

  Head to the river. Target any enemies in front or on the sides with airstrikes as you go.

  Take cover when you see the gas station surrounded by enemies. Use every last airstrike you have to blow it up, taking out the surrounding troops.
- 5
  Run past the aftermath of the explosion and enter the pickup zone to end the level.
