How to Get Lock Down Defense on 2K10

Lockdown defense first appeared in the video game "2K08". It forces man-to-man coverage and instructs computer controlled players to play stronger defense, creating stops and turnovers. Critics complained that the lockdown system did not properly reflect the amount of stamina each player would loose during intensified defensive maneuvers. With the release of 2K10, the lockdown feature is only available on the gamer-controlled player and requires usage of the right stick to maneuver the player while playing tight to the player on offense.

     Press the X button while moving the analog stick to select the player defensive player you want to use.

     Position your player in front of the approaching offensive player using the analog stick.

   • 3

     Press the left trigger to activate lockdown defense. Your player will press the offensive opponent with an aggressive stance and proximity.

   • 4

     Steer your player left and right with the analog stick.
