How to Unlock the Halo 3 Achievement Glitch

"Halo 3," released for the Xbox 360 in 2007, features more than 75 achievements for a total of 1,750 Gamerscore points, including all map packs and the "ODST" version of the game. While these achievements are meant to challenge players' skills in both online and campaign modes, there is a glitch for one particular achievement that allows you to gain points with little effort, as long as you enlist the help of a friend.

Instructions

- 1
  Select "The Ark" level from the co-op mission select menu and begin the match along with a second player.

  Proceed to the Pelican crash site located after the first terminal.

  Destroy the Brute and pick up the rocket launcher near the Pelican.
- 4
  Head toward the location of the choppers on foot. On your way, a Prowler vehicle will drive by. Ignore it, and a second will follow.
- 5
  Aim your rocket launcher and shoot the second Prowler while your co-op partner shoots it with a Brute Shot. This glitch will suddenly unlock the "Used Car Salesman" achievement.
