How to Survive the Convicts in Dead Rising

The video game "Dead Rising" has plenty of dangers to deal with beyond the zombie hordes. Several psychopaths and a group of escaped convicts also are on the loose. The convicts have stolen a jeep and a large machine gun, and they've taken control of the outdoor area of the mall. The easiest way to survive the convicts is to run through their area as quickly as possible without engaging them.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you're at dusk on Sept. 19. Go outside into Leisure Park and a cut scene will appear showing you a group of convicts driving around in a jeep, firing a large machine gun.

  Run straight through Leisure Park toward your destination. If this is the first time you're seeing the convicts, you'll either be searching for survivors or escorting them back to the hideout. Run through the park as quickly as possible, ignoring the attacks from the convicts.

  Enter any area of the mall to get away from the convicts. They can't follow you inside the mall.
