How to Make an Elephant Go Fast in Halo 3

Out of all the vehicles available in "Halo 3" for the Xbox 360, the elephant is the largest. The Elephant is a slow moving, massive vehicle designed for prolonged defensive situations or large-scale assaults. With three turrets, a vehicle bay and enough room to house an entire team, an elephant can turn the tide of battle. You can maintain the elephant's top speed by following several driving and handling tips.

Instructions

  Move into position at the elephant's driver seat and take control by holding down the "RB" button on your game controller.

  Move the left joystick forward to accelerate the elephant.

  Maneuver the elephant with the right joystick until you are moving in a straight line.

  Avoid hitting objects in the elephant's path by using the right joystick to maneuver around them. Avoid sharp turns, as this will slow the elephant down greatly.

  Stay alive. One of the main causes of elephant slowdown is pilot death. Have your teammates man the three turrets on the top of the elephant's frame.
