Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on your laptop and right-click the "Network" icon, usually located in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. Click the "Open Network and Sharing Center" option.
Click "Manage Network Connections" in the "Network and Sharing Center."
Highlight both the "Local Area Connection" and "Wireless Connection" and right-click. Select "Bridge Connections." This allows the wireless connection between your laptop and wireless router to also be used as a local area network connection for your Xbox 360.
Plug the Ethernet cable into the ports on both your laptop and Xbox 360.
Press the "Guide" button on your Xbox 360 controller to turn on your system. Then press it again to bring up the "Guide" window on your screen.
Move the "Guide" window over to the "Settings" tab, and select the "System Settings" option. Select the "Network Settings" option and run a "Network Test." If successful, your laptop will be identified by your Xbox 360 as a networking device, and you'll be able to access Xbox Live.
