How to Use the Apologize Expression in Fable II

Expressions are used in "Fable II" to convey feelings and emotions to villagers. The apology expression, unlocked when your good morality meter reaches 25 percent, allows you to apologize for the crimes you have committed. When used, a villager will forgive you and not report you to the guards. However, the apology expression is not found on the expression wheel and, instead, must be used differently from the other expressions in the game. The apology expression is context-sensitive and can only be used if a villager has seen you commit a crime.

Instructions

    • 1

Commit a crime while a villager is watching you. For example, break down a villager's door on their house or steal an item.

    • 2

Face the villager who has witnessed the crime and press the left trigger to lock onto the villager.

    • 3

Press Up on the Xbox 360 directional pad to apologize. The village will forgive you and not report you to the guards.
