How to Find a Job in Red Dead

"Red Dead Redemption" puts you in the role of John Marston, a former outlaw tasked with hunting down his old gang after shady lawmen kidnap his family. This Microsoft Xbox 360 2010 title includes plenty of extra activities you can complete, including a handful of different jobs to earn extra cash and boost your stats.These jobs can be found in several different towns across the landscape. View your map to find them most easily.

Instructions

  Press the Start button to call up the options menu and select Map.

  Press Y to view the map legend and see which symbols represent which jobs. A picture of a horse is a horse-breaking job while a half moon depicts a nightwatch job, for example.

  Use the left analog stick to scroll across the map. Zoom in with the right trigger. Zoom out with the left trigger.

  Place the crosshair over a job with the left analog stick and press A to set a waypoint. This will show you the direction you need to travel to get to this location on the map.

  Follow the red line on the map at the lower left corner of the main screen to reach the job. Walk up to the yellow X that appears on the screen to begin the work.
