Hints & Cheats for Most Wanted for the Xbox 360

"Need for Speed: Most Wanted" is a street racing game in which you must compete among the best racers in the area. Press button combos from the title screen to get new cars and engines. Beat bosses throughout the game to get other new cars. You can avoid being taken in by the police during your races once you know what each police car will do to make an arrest.

Codes
- Enter "L," "R," "L," "R," "Up," "Down," "Up" and "Down" to get the Castrol Oil Ford GT car. Type "Up," "Up," "Down," "Down," "L," "R," "Up" and "Down" to unlock the Junkman Engine. As soon as the game asks you to press "Start," enter "Up," "Down," "Up," "Down," "L," "R," "L" and "R" to get the Special Challenge Event. Beat the Burger King Challenge to unlock all of the other Junkman car parts.
Bosses
- Beat the third Blacklist Boss to unlock the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and the Porsche Carrera GT. Defeat the fourth Blacklist Boss to get the Lamborguini Murcielago and Ford GT. You get the Corvette C6 and Porsche 911 Turbo S after you beat the fifth Blacklist Boss. Beat the sixth Blacklist Boss to unlock the Lamborguini Gallardo and Dodge Viper SRT 10. Win against the seventh Blacklist Boss to get the Aston Martin DB9 and Porsche 911 Carrera S.
Gamer Points
- Unlock achievements and gamer points that post to your Xbox Live profile by beating certain racers. Beat Vince Kilic, Ho Seun, Isabel Diaz and Victor Vazquez to get awards and 10 gamer points. Win against Kira Nakazato, Karl Smith and Lou Park for achievements and 25 gamer points. Beat Wes Allen for 75 points and Joe Vega for 85 points. Beat Ronald McCrea for 100 points, Toru Sato for 200 points and Clarence Callahan for 350 points.
Police Cars
- The Civic Cruiser cars have the least training and are the easiest to get away from. Federal Pursuit police cars set up blocks along your path to stop you. Federal Undercover cars are Corvettes that will even drive off the road to catch you. Helicopters can be avoided only by driving into a place with a roof. State Undercover cars are Pontiac GTOs that are difficult to damage. The SUV Lights are hard to damage but easy to get away from.
