Cheats for the Sims on the XBox 360

Cheating Llama

• There is no need for cheat codes in "The Sims 3;" this area is handled by a llama named Spot. Press down the "L1, R1, L2, and R2" buttons at the same time while in the "Pause" menu. You will be asked to save an extra version of your game; accept this request because once cheats are used challenges cannot be attempted. Purchase Spot for free from the "Buy/Build Mode" under "Miscellaneous Decor." The llama will stay on your premises; click on it to activate cheats such as unlocking all of the challenge rewards and improving your finances by 50,000 Simoleons.

Spooky Baby

• When creating a female Sim, make one of her traits "Kleptomaniac." Steal body parts from the graveyard and bring them back to your home. Starting the following day and continuing every other day, a ghost will haunt the house from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Stay up late to talk to the ghost; it will turn up every night once you are best friends. Buy "Fertility Treatment" with your Lifetime Points. Once you have the Fertility Reward tell the Ghost that you're attracted to him, get into bed and kiss. Keep trying for a baby until your Sim falls pregnant; you will eventually give birth to a ghost baby.

Multi-Learning

• Purchase a video game console and a television with fishing, cooking and gardening channels. Sit a Sim down to watch TV and turn to either a fishing cooking or gardening channel; a skill meter will appear showing that the Sim is learning. Instruct another Sim to play video games using the same TV; the Sim watching television will continue to learn the original skill. Wait until the Sim decides to do something else. Have that Sim watch one of the two remaining TV stations and repeat the same process until he is learning three skills at once without even watching TV. Instruct the Sim to learn any other skill and four skill meters will fill up at once.

Other Cheats

• If a female Sim is pregnant and you're hoping for a boy, eat plenty of apples to improve your chances. Eating watermelons increase the likelihood of a baby girl.

  Purchase a bookcase and instruct your Sim to study from one of the books. Put the book on the floor and sell the bookcase. All the benefits from the bookcase are now transferred to the book on the floor, saving space and money.

  Buy a birthday cake and click on the cake to bring up some options. Choose "Have Birthday" and then select a Sim that you want to age. This is an effective way to speed up the aging process.
