How to Adjust an Xbox 360 Controller for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

"Oblivion: The Elder Scrolls IV" is an online game for the Xbox 360 that allows you to play in an online fantasy world and complete the main quest or side quests at your own pace. While the game automatically sets up your controller for standard action controls, you may find that you prefer certain buttons to perform certain actions so that you can play with your own control preferences. You can change the game play buttons and actions through the "Options" menu within the game.

Instructions

  Access the "Options" menu within the game. You can do so either from the main menu when you start the game, or at any point during your gameplay by pushing the "Start" button (looks like a "Play" button on your Xbox 360 controller).

  Select "Controls" from the "Options" menu. Through this menu, you can also change audio and video settings, control new downloadable content and change gameplay preferences.

  Change the buttons to represent the actions that you want them to complete. You can change all of the main buttons, as well as the bumpers, triggers and thumb-stick actions.
