How to Download to an XBox 360 Elite

The Xbox LIVE Marketplace puts downloadable content at your finger tips. With your Xbox LIVE account, you can access, browse and download games, demos, video, music, game add-ons and more. The content you download is saved to your Xbox 360 Elite hard drive. If you delete downloaded content from your console to clear up storage space on the hard drive, you can download it again directly from your Xbox LIVE account download history.

Instructions

  Turn on your TV and console. The Xbox 360 Elite Dashboard will load.

  Navigate to the "My Xbox" pane.

  Select the appropriate tab for the type of content you want to download. For example, select "Games" to access game content or "Video Marketplace" for video media.

  Use the directional arrows to browse the Marketplace you selected.

  Select an item to download it. A confirmation prompt will load.

  Select the "Confirm Download" option to use your account's Microsoft points. Or, select "Redeem Code" and follow the on-screen instructions to utilize a prepaid code. The download will begin. You will find the completed download in the appropriate media tab (Games, Music, Video) of your Xbox Dashboard.
