How Can I Play Music & Video on My Xbox?

  Turn on your Xbox 360 and log into your Xbox Live account.

  Scroll up and select either "Music Marketplace" or "Video Marketplace." Press the "A" button on your controller to select "Zune." Inside Zune you will find hundreds of videos and music to purchase and download to your Xbox 360.

  Browse through the categories to find the video or music you want to download. Once you choose, Xbox Live will show you how many Xbox points are required to purchase the item. Xbox Live offers many of the videos in both standard and high definition. Click on either selection and select "Buy."

  Select "Play" once you see the message that the download is available to play.

External USB hard drive videos and music

  Load your external USB drive with your personal videos and music from your computer. Then plug it in to your Xbox and turn the Xbox on.

  Scroll to the right in your My Xbox menu and select either "Video Library" or "Music Library."

  Select "Portable Device" as the source from which you want to access your videos and music.

  Choose your video or music from the provided list and select "Play" to view your video or listen to your music.
