How to Find the IP Address of My XBox

When you connect your Xbox to your home network it is assigned an IP address, just like your computer. The IP address is used by your router and other computers on your network to identify other devices in range. Each device is assigned a unique IP address that may periodically change depending on your network settings. Locating the IP address assigned to your Xbox is very simple, as it is located in the network settings.

     Turn on your Xbox and select “My Xbox.”

     Scroll to “System Settings” from the “My Xbox” screen.

     Choose “Network Settings” and then “Network Settings.”

     Select the option labeled “Configure Network” to reveal your IP address. Your IP address will be listed in the second section, beside the label “IP Address.”
