Owners of the Xbox 360 receive a free "Silver" account with their Xbox 360, which allows them access to video clips, the option to buy games and the ability to send instant voice and text messages to friends on "Xbox Live." "Gold" level accounts are also available for a base subscription fee and allow access to premium content such as game demos, Netflix compatibility, and online gaming support. If you do not have an Xbox 360 wireless adapter, you can access "Xbox Live" through your active wired Internet router.
