How to Backup XBox 360 Games Using an XBox Backup Creator

Xbox Backup Creator is a free software program that you download to your computer to copy the information from your Xbox games. This comes in handy not only if you want to duplicate games, but if you want to backup the games you already have. Even if you aren't particularly tech savvy you'll be pleased to find that the process of backing up your Xbox 360 games on this program is fairly straightforward.

  Launch the Xbox Backup Creator from your computer. Wait for the flash (logo) screen to give way to the main menu.

  Insert the disc you wish to back up into the drive in your computer. Wait for the program to recognize the disk. The disk's information will appear in the main menu screen when it does.

  Select the "Complete Backup" option located in the top right corner of the Xbox Backup Creator main menu.

  Select the "Start" button in the lower corner of your PC screen and then type in the name of the game in the "File Name" text box in the bottom of the window.

  Click the "Save" button in the window and then the game will be saved to the hard drive of your computer, creating a backup. The process may take as long as 20 minutes.
