How Do I Get a Service Request Number for Xbox Repair?

The Xbox 360 console, like all electronics, will sometimes encounter technical problems that require repair. Repair requests are submitted through the Xbox website, and a service request number is given out for each one. This number allows you to contact Microsoft and find out if your system is being repaired, is on its way back to you, or is still waiting for repairs.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn your Xbox on. Select "System Settings," and then "Console Settings." Select "System Info." Write down the serial number given for your Xbox 360 console.

    • 2

Sign into your Xbox account on the Xbox homepage (see References for link). Click the "Support" button.

    • 3
