American Idol Encore is an Xbox 360 game simulating the popular Fox nationwide singing competition show American Idol. The game utilizes a microphone, which the gamer sings into while attempting to match the pitch of the song that is currently playing. The game has several features, including Xbox LIVE Vision Camera support, online multiplayer matches and over 30 songs. Users can even add to their library by downloading additional songs off the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

  Go to Xbox.com on your computer and click the Xbox LIVE sign-in button near the top right side of the page.

  Log into your Xbox LIVE account by entering your Windows LIVE ID and password. Logging in redirects you to Xbox.com.

  Go to the American Idol Encore Xbox LIVE Marketplace web page. See References for a link to the page.

  Browse the song download list and click the "Download for Xbox 360" link corresponding with your desired songs. Confirm that you would like to use your gamer points to purchase the additional song(s). If you do no have enough gamer points you can choose to purchase more.

  Turn on your Xbox 360 and log into Xbox LIVE using the same account you used to purchase the American Idol Encore tracks. Once you log in, your console will automatically start downloading the songs you purchased.
