  Start up NBA Live 2008 by navigating to the "Manage Rosters" tab. Depending on what system the game is being run from, the "Manage Rosters" tab might be located in the "Features" or "Options" settings in the main menu. Select "Create-A-Player" to begin.

  Enter the appropriate values for the physical characteristics of Michael Jordan. If you are having a tough time making a customized character that looks like Michael Jordan, refer to the tips section in this article for an accurate starting point. Most reputable sources agree that Jordan was 6'6" and 216 pounds.

  Complete the customized character by naming him "Michael Jordan" and properly allocating the skill points. Spend the skill points in the areas your team needs the most from Jordon, and don't forget he also was statistically one of the most prolific defensive players of all time.

  Start a new game or season and move Michael Jordan into your starting lineup. Doing this will include him every time you start a new game or continue with your season. If you wish to use Jordan off the bench, you will have to move him out of the starting lineup again before you start the next game.
