Can you play left for dead 2 verse s mode on the Xbox 360 in split screen?

Unfortunately, Left 4 Dead 2 does not support split-screen in Versus mode on the Xbox 360.

The only way to play Left 4 Dead 2 in split-screen is in Campaign mode, where you can play cooperatively with a friend on the same couch.

Versus mode is designed for online multiplayer only, where two teams of players (Survivors and Infected) compete against each other.
