Turn on the Xbox 360 and plug in the USB drive. Do not log into Xbox Live.
Navigate to "System," select "Memory" and press "A" on your controller. Select "Hard Drive" in the Storage Devices section and press "A."
Select "Gamer Profiles" and press "A." Select the gamer profile you want to mod and press "A." Select "Copy" and press "A."
Select "Yes" when you are asked to sign out of the profile and press "A."
Select the USB flash drive on the Select a Device screen and press "A."
Press "B" to return to the System menu. Your gamer profile is now on your USB drive.
Unplug the USB flash drive from the console and plug it in one of the computer's USB ports.
Go to the "Start" menu and click "Computer" to start the Windows 7 default file manager.
Use the file manager to navigate to the USB drive, select the profile and press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys at the same time to copy the file to the clipboard.
Navigate to your desktop and press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys at the same time to paste the file from the clipboard.
Open the Web browser and navigate to MediaFire to download the EzGt 2.2 tool.
Click on the green "Download" button and save the archive on your computer.
Right-click on the archive and select "Extract here" to extract its contents in the same folder.
Double-click on the "EzGt 2.2.exe" file to start the tool.
Click on the round button in the top-left corner of the EzGt window and click "Open." The Open file window pops up.
Select the profile file and click "Open" to open it in EzGt.
Select the default gamertag in the text box in the middle of the EzGt window and press the "Delete" key to delete it.
Type a new gamertag in the text box.
Click on the "Add" tab and select a color to add to your gamertag.
Click on the round button in the top-left corner of the EzGt window and click "Save" to save the new gamertag, overwriting the old file.
Copy the gamertag file from the desktop to the USB flash drive, overwriting the old file.
