How to Get Goobaa in Viva Pinata

In the first "Viva Pinata" game for the Xbox 360, the Goobaa was a domestic pinata sold at Petula's Paper Pets for 2,310 chocolate coins. In the sequel, "Trouble in Paradise," Goobaas are wild, and luring one to your garden is a little tricky. After meeting the Goobaa's appearance requirements, you see an animation of the sheep-like pinata walking toward your garden, but its path is blocked by a sleeping Chippopotamus. You have to find a way to wake the Chippo before the Goobaa can enter your garden.

  Raise your gardener level to 11.

  Buy the long grass packet at Costolot's Store for 1,125 chocolate coins.

  Plant five snowdrops and add long grass to 4 percent of your garden to make a Goobaa appear.

  Romance Sparrowmints until you have three pinatas of that species.

  Buy a dandelion seed from Costolot's Store for 13 chocolate coins.

  Plant the seed in your garden. Whack the plant with your shovel to separate the flower from the seed. Plant the resulting seed and repeat until you have three dandelion flowers.

  Feed one dandelion flower to each Sparrowmint, evolving all three into Candaries. The Candaries wake the sleeping Chippopotamus and allow the Goobaa to enter your garden.

  Plant long grass over 6 percent of your garden and plant eight snowdrops to make the Goobaa visit your garden.
- 9
  Make 8 percent of your garden long grass and place 12 segments of fence or wall in your garden. After the Goobaa eats three of the snowdrops, it will become a resident in your garden.
