Instructions
Use the "Y" button to target minions in the cave part of Chapter Three. Attack the smaller creatures by pushing "B." Avoid rocks thrown by the large beast in the cave. Attack the large minion by hitting his belly when he rears up.
Target and attack the little creatures that come toward you as you are crossing the ropes and platforms to get to the save pedestal at the end of Chapter Three.
Press the "R" button to switch to first person mode. Press "B" to throw rocks at the wolves and other critters you'll meet in Chapter Four. Don't try to defeat the rock-throwing giants. Run as fast as you can to avoid their rocks.
Avoid spiders, especially the poisonous green one, in Chapter Five. Attack the goblins using the "A" button to jump and the "B" button to attack, particularly on the goblins with shields.
Use jump attacks to defeat the creatures after you find the dwarves in Chapter Six. Use a combination of your sword and jump attacks to defeat the Wight Lord. Use a jump attack to flip over the armored spiders so you can defeat them more easily with your sword. Defeat later spiders by throwing fire rocks and ice rocks with "B."
Use a combination of attack moves with your sword to defeat the little critters and frog you'll encounter in Chapter Seven. Use the master jump tactic and your walking stick to kill multiple enemies at a time in Chapter Eight when retrieving the Black Arrow.
Throw rocks at the goblins or jump over them wearing the invisibility ring so you can hit them more easily. Press "B" to activate the catapult and kill a group of goblins.
