How to Find the Princess in Braid for XBLA

"Braid" is a simple platformer game on the surface, but offers varous strategic elements as you delve deeper into the game. A common plot among platformers, the goal of the game is to save the princess. You play the game as Tim, the protagonist, who must make his way through all the levels of the game to find the princess.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the game until you reach the final level: World 1, Level 1.

  Run quickly to the right. You are being chased by a wall of fire, so move as fast as possible. You will see the princess at the top of the screen. She will activate switches that open barriers blocking your path. Wait for the fire wall to almost get you when you reach the fiery pit, but jump at the last minute. The princess will activate a switch and you will land on a platform.

  Move to the right as quickly as possible and activate the switch that you find.

  Cross the lattice and jump on the monster coming out of the pit to get to the platform where you activate the next switch. Time it so the monsters fall into the newly opened hole.

  Run to the right as the princess clears any remaining obstacles for you.

  Climb the lattice when you reach the end and enter the house to find the princess sleeping.
- 7
  Rewind to the beginning of the level to complete the game.
