How to Put in Xbox Live Codes

The silver membership is free to all Xbox users. It lets users chat with other Xbox Live users. A 12-month gold membership lets users play games online with multiple people. You can buy a gold-membership Xbox Live code online from Microsoft or at stores that carry Xbox products.

     Turn on Xbox and select "My Xbox" in the dashboard.

     Click on your user name and select "Join Xbox Live." Under the "Account Management" tab, sign in using your user name.

     Click on "Memberships." Click on "Silver Membership."

     Select "Redeem Code" and enter your Xbox Live code using the onscreen keypad.

     Hit "Continue." The Live code will be activated immediately.
