Value of Effanbee Durable Dolls

"Bernard E. Fleischaker and Hugo Baum started manufacturing the F&B.....Effanbee dolls circa 1912. They are truly quality dolls which have endured well over the many years since their creation," reports Antique Dolls-Collectors-Online Advisors.com. Some Effanbee dolls, including the newer models, are quite valuable.
  1. Rosemary

    • Rosemary was a Mama doll made in the 1920's. She is worth about $200 today. She is valuable because she is not as chubby as earlier models. She has blue eyes, real eyelashes and an open mouth with four teeth. She also has a cryer box that says "Mama."

    Baby Tinyette Circa

    • This baby doll was made in the 1930's. She is a tiny eight inches tall. She does not have real hair: it is painted and molded. Her lashes are also painted. Her eyes are blue and have a rather large black pupil in the center. Her value is approximately $425.

    Brother and Sister

    • This pair of dolls has a value of about $500. The official name is Baby Brother and Baby Sister. They were made in 1943. Their hair is made of yarn, and their clothing sports bright colors. They are collectible because they are paired and whimsical.
