Obtain an appraisal of your glass from an antique dealer. Dealers may be able to assign value by simply looking at a piece or may need to do a little research for a more accurate estimate, normally for a small fee. If you bring in a piece you own, a dealer may be able to tell you instantly if it is fake or is the real thing.
