How to Identify the Age of an Anchor Hocking Pattern

In 1937 the Hocking Glass Company and Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation merged, forming the Anchor Hocking company. This company is still operating today, under new ownership, in Lancaster, Ohio. Over the years, they have introduced and produced a number of very popular patterns in their kitchenware, glassware, dinnerware, barware, ovenware and storageware lines. Locating the period of time that the patterns were manufactured, what markings, if any, were used and what colors were then available for each pattern will tell you the approximate age of your piece.
