- White vinegar
- Wash basin or bucket (or sink)
- Water
- Clothesline

Fill a bucket, basin or sink with equal parts warm water and white vinegar, enough to cover the linens, and place the linens into the water.

Add the manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent booster for a small load.

Allow the antique linens to soak for an hour and then agitate the water with your hands.

Rinse the linens in clean water.
