How to Clean the Inside of Old Bottle

You may have come across old bottles in your attic or you might have bought an old bottle or two at an antique store. Before you show off or attempt to sell the bottles, you may rid the insides of dirt and dust. Rinsing the inside of the old bottles with hot water may not fully clean them.. By following the steps listed below, you can clean the inside of an old bottle.

      Rise out the inside of the old bottle. Spray hot water into the bottle and then swirl that water around inside of the old bottle. Empty the bottle and then repeat the process two to three more times.

      Fill a sink with hot water.

      Add two cups of white vinegar to the water.

      Place the old bottle into the solution. Let the bottle to soak for two hours.

      Using a thin brush, such as a toothbrush, scrub the entire inside of the old bottle. Leave the old bottle soaking while you scrub inside.

      Rinse the old bottle with lukewarm water. Allow it to air dry or wipe off the bottle with a cloth towel.
