Instructions
Maintain strict handling rules when dealing with your coins. Wash your hands before you touch them and always hold them by their edges so you preserve face value.
Store your coins in protective holders and keep them in a mild, constant temperature. Avoid moisture at all costs.
Submit your coins to the Certified Acceptance Corporation, or CAC. This independent company helps verify the value of coins, and proof of your coin's authenticity immediately raises its value.
Correctly identify your coins. Find a specific guide to each coin you own and try to determine its exact value. Some coins have serial numbers or other special markings that make them stand out when compared to nearly identical finds; you may have an incredibly rare coin without realizing it.
Upgrade your coin's holder. While the coin mount does not necessarily add real value, collectors are naturally drawn to aesthetically pleasing mounts. Replace any old coin mounts that show scuffs or scratches.
