Choosing a Display
Figure out how your coins are going to be displayed. For example, do you want them sitting on your coffee table, on your bedside nightstand or hanging on the wall. A lot of this also depends on the size of your collection.
Count and categorize all of your coins so that you know which type of display case your current collection needs. There are numerous sizes of display cases, anywhere from holding one coin to 200 coins. Getting a case that is too large will make your collection seem incomplete and unfinished if it is small.
Look for wall shadow box displays if you have a smaller coin collection, as these hold up better on the wall.
Find table-top rack displays if you're going to have coins with unique images on both the front and back sides. Rack displays allow for multiple inserts and also come in a wide variety of sizes.
Browse the Internet for a high-quality displays, regardless of the type you choose. This will enhance the overall appearance of your collection. In general, the more you pay for your display, the higher quality and more durable it will be.
