Instructions
Purchase a photo or scrapbook album from a craft store or photography store. Make sure it has at least 50 pages (100 sides). Albums with paper pages but without clear cover sheets on each page are best.
Purchase small coin envelopes from an office store and glue one envelope with rubber cement or craft glue into the center of each page.
Using a label maker or store-bought labels, label each page or envelope with the name of the state. You can order the states alphabetically or in the order they were released by the U.S. Mint.
Label the cover of your album and paste a list of the release dates of all the quarters in the front inside cover of the album. You can find the release dates at Statequarterguide.com.
Purchase state quarters at coin collecting websites or at coin shows in your area. You can find the dates of those shows at Coinshows.com. Additionally, many of these quarters are still circulating. Check the quarters you receive from stores as change and ask your friends and family to do the same. You can also post an ad in your local newspaper requesting state quarters.
As you receive them, insert quarters into the album's envelopes in the appropriate, marked place.
