How to Clean State Quarters

Beginning in 1999, the U.S. mint began producing quarters depicting each of the country's 50 states, each with a production run of approximately 10 weeks. Many people collected each state's quarter to amass a complete collection. The finish of new coins is shiny and pristine. Yet, those that have been used may appear tarnished, prompting the collector to clean them and attempt to restore them to their original appearance.
