"A" and "B"
"Garbage Pail Kids Series 7" had 110 total cards but only 55 different illustrations. It used an "A" and a "B" numbering system to differentiate cards with the same drawing but different names for the characters. The checklist begins with cards 1a and 1b depicting the character Ty Dee Knott. It ends with cards 55a and 55b of "Dough Boyd" and "Pills Barry." Some others in between include Britney Shears, Deodor Brent and Nicholas Caged. Most "A" and "B" cards also have a different puzzle piece on the back.
Specialty Cards
Series 7 has four rare, specialty cards sets. The Activity, Pop-up, and Jig-Saw Puzzle sets have 10 cards each, while the Loco Motion Cards set has five. The odds of finding Activity Cards are one out of every four packs, while Pop-up and Jig-Saw cards are found in one out of every six packs. The most difficult the find, Loco Motion Cards, are in one out of every eight packs.
Bonus and Promo Cards
Bonus and promo cards only came in Series 7 boxes, or they were given out at special events. Each box had 24 packs with seven cards each. Only one bonus card was randomly inserted in each box. Four promo stickers were also issued for the series. Three of those were only given to dealers on uncut sheets. The other sticker was given away during the 2008 San Diego Comic Convention.
Card Value
As of 2011, a common Series 7 card had an estimated value of 15 cents according to Wayne's Garbage Pail Kids Reference. Single Activity, Pop-up and Puzzle cards cost $1.50 each, and Locomotion Cards cost $2.50 each. The value for the entire basic set was $10. The first print of the "Carl Wreck" bonus card is the most valuable card with an estimated worth of $200.
