Things You'll Need
Instructions
Determine where you would like to display your collection. Some collectors devote entire rooms to their items, while others select an area in a specific room. You can also opt to work the items into the overall decoration of the room, creating a theme throughout the room and displaying items without actually having a single, centralized display area.
Select a display location for your John Deere items. You can use a dresser, table, curio cabinet, pie safe, bookcase or other shelved unit to display the tractor objects in. The size of your model tractors and other collectibles will determine the space you need between shelves. For an extra John Deere effect, you may want to paint the shelving unit in Deere's trademark green and yellow paint scheme or cover the shelves with John Deere fabric or wallpaper. You can also get John Deere patches and stencils to add further detail.
Arrange your collectibles around the display area. You should set larger items behind smaller ones, with the items you want to draw the most attention to in the center of your display. Position any hanging items behind smaller stand-alone items for improved visibility.
Arrange other John Deere items throughout the room. Even if you decide to place the majority of your collection in one centralized location, it will help improve balance and give the room a unified theme if you place a handful of items in other locations around the room or use John Deere colors to decorate the rest of the room. For example, use green or yellow throw pillows on the couch or hang John Deere curtains.
