How to Store High School Memorabilia
Gather the memorabilia in one place to determine just how much stuff you have. You might already have it al together; if not, gather it all up so you can figure out exactly what you are dealing with.
Sort through the memorabilia. You might try sorting it by school grade (if you can remember which grade each piece is from). You might also sort by the event each item pertains to, or where it came from.
Decide on a method of storage. You might choose to use storage boxes with lids. You can then put each batch of memorabilia into a box and use a marker to identify which items are in it. If you have quite a few smaller items you might consider using a small keepsake box and placing it inside a bigger box; this way, the smaller things do not get lost or tossed around.
Take care of the fragile items. I keep my prom mugs and wine glasses from high school in bubble wrap, so that I don't have to worry about them breaking. You might use newspaper, bags, or another medium to ensure your trinkets do not get broken.
Compile your pictures into an album. You probably have many pictures from high school, and it can be all too easy to lose them if you aren't careful. Either assign all the pictures to one photo album or break them up by grades, events, etc. This makes it easier for you to look at the photos whenever you want without having to deal with an unorganized mess.
Care for special papers. You might have kept a lot of paper items from school, whether they be be old love letters, notes you passed to friends, event programs, etc. Whatever the case may be, papers can be torn too easily, especially when they aren't proper cared for. Put your special papers in page protectors so you don't have to worry about them getting torn up. You can buy page protectors with three binder holes in the side, so you can put them all in a binder if you want to protect them even more.
