How to Value Antique Bikes

Older bicycles often have a charm that new bikes lack. The quality of old steel construction, the reliability of simpler and more limited gear shifters, the vintage paint jobs and decals; all of this can be found in antique bicycles. While many older bikes can be bought for a fraction of the price of a new bike, some have also become extremely valuable. It can be difficult to know whether your antique bike is valuable without doing the research.
