Porcelain Doll Clubs of Arizona

Porcelain dolls can be either bisque dolls, which are made from unglazed porcelain, or china dolls, which are made from glazed porcelain. Often the head, arms and legs are made of porcelain, while the body is made from another material, such as cloth or wood. There are several doll clubs for porcelain-doll enthusiasts in Arizona.
  1. United Federation of Doll Clubs, Inc. Region 2S

    • United Federation of Doll Clubs, Inc. Region 2S is a division of United Federation of Doll Clubs. This regional club covers Arizona, Hawaii and Southern California. There are memberships available for both doll collectors, doll dressing and making enthusiasts, and those who work in the doll industry. Membership includes a subscription to Doll News magazine as well as access to other educational materials about the world of dolls, including how to judge both modern and antique dolls. The United Federation of Doll Clubs offers hands-on workshops and seminars each year and allows doll enthusiasts and dealers to network.

There are eight branch clubs located across the United States; however, the parent club is located in Arizona. Each year, the IDMA's annual convention is held in Arizona and offers a number of hands-on workshops. From the creation of doll accessories, such as leather boots, to the creation of an entire porceilain doll, complete with bridal outfit, the IDMA annual convention offers a workshop for every doll-making enthusiast.
