Vintage Flash Cards Tutorial

Vintage flash cards are a collector's item. But they can be used as normal flash cards are used if you handle them carefully. Use vintage flash cards in the way that best fits your purposes for studying or decorating. Keep them out of reach of small children or pets who could destroy them. Remember that because they are vintage and come from an era gone, you may have a difficult time replacing them.

Collect Cards

Handmade craft websites, such as Etsy, make new flash cards that have a vintage look or use vintage magazines to make flash cards. Display them in a coffee table that has a glass top that opens like a display case or in a glass display case that you can mount on a wall or sit on a bookshelf.

- Hang vintage flash cards side-by-side on a wall or multiple walls in a room in your house, such as your office or a study. If your cards do not come with slots, then consider framing them.

- Use vintage flash cards as learning tools. You also can buy new cards that look "vintage" because of their typeface and colors. Use the cards to teach your children ABC's or beginning words. Put the cards in a container and a safe place after using them to retain the quality of the cards.
