How to Catalog Comic Books

Comic books are often released in single issue format; one issue usually comes out every month. Due to this, many issues of comic books are easily accumulated by comic book enthusiasts. Keeping large numbers of comic books organized is challenging. By keeping a database of your comics you can more easily find issues you are looking for in your collection. Having an online catalog of your comics allows you to access your list from anywhere.

Instructions

  Go to StashMyComics.com; this is a website that provides a free online comic book database.

  Click on sign-up at the top of the website to create a new account.

  Under sign-up, fill in the required fields such as your name, username and email.

  Enter your user ID and password and click log in.

  Click on Submit New Issue/Series to add a series or issue of comic book to your list.

  Fill in the required fields on the Submit New Series/Issue page; fill in as many of the non-required fields as possible to make your comic book database complete. Click the Submit Database button to submit your title to your database.

  Click My Stash to view your comic book database.
