Board and Bag
Place a backboard inside the comic directly in the center of the book where you can see the stapled or stitched spine inside. The best boards are acid-free (which means they don't have to be switched out) and white.
Insert the comic inside of a polyethylene or polypropylene storage bag.
Polyethylene or polypropylene storage bags ensure your that comics remain archival safe. To place your comics in a binder, purchase bags with a binder tab.
Seal the bag carefully to ensure that the zip seal is closed to keep out air.
Place sealed comics in a binder so your comic collection is accessible for others to peruse at their pleasure.
Frame
Purchase a frame with a glass or plexi glass insert.
Insert an acid-free board, like the boards used when bagging your comics, and center the comic on the frame backer.
Place the mat board over the centered comic. Place the glass or plexiglass over the mat board.
Place the frame over the glass, mat board and frame backer. Carefully flip the frame and securely attach the frame backer.
Display the comic on the wall for all to enjoy.
Acrylic Comic Book Display Boxes
Open the snaps on either side of the Acrylic Comic Book Display Box and dust off the inside display area.
Place an acid-free board in the center of the comic you'll be placing in the box to ensure support. Place the comic centered in the display box.
Place the lid on the box and snap it shut. You can display the box on a table on hang it on a wall. A display box can protect your collection while still allowing others to read and enjoy it.
