Elektra first appeared in the Daredevil comic book series during the early 1980s. Her full name is Elektra Natchios, and she was introduced as a fully trained ninja and assassin.
Features
Elektra is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, but her trademark weapons are two double-bladed sai swords. Most heroes ultimately do not kill, but Elektra has killed villains on numerous occasions.
Series
Elecktra has appeared in Daredevil comics, X-men comics, DC vs. Marvel and Marvel Zombies. Her character has been turned into an action figure.
Movies
Elektra made her big screen debut in the 2003 film "Daredevil." The film was a success, so her portrayer, Jennifer Garner, went on to play the character in the self-titled movie "Elektra."
Identification
Elektra's signature color is red, and she is often seen in a full red leather outfit when doing battles. She also wears a read bandana much of the time.
