Visit the DC Comics website (see Resources). This is the home page of DC Comics, the company that owns and publishes comic books featuring the Batman family of characters.
Click on the "Comics" option on the left side of the screen. This will bring up a list of four categories---choose the one that reads "DC Universe," which is the imprint of DC Comics "Batman" is printed under.
Click on "Previews" from the list of options on the left of the screen. This will bring up a list of different titles that have preview pages posted online. These books are not commercially released yet, so you get to see the comics before they are published.
Click on the titles featuring Batman. As DC Comics does not offer a subscription-based digital content distribution system, there is no legal way to read old "Batman" comic books on the Internet. You can read these preview pages of comics online for free. Normally, you can read six or eight pages from an upcoming "Batman" comic. DC Comics usually puts new "Batman" comic previews online weekly. Any "Batman" comic you find elsewhere online was illegally put there.
