Instructions
Stock Replacement
Remove the bolt by placing the safety in the vertical position, rotating the bolt counterclockwise and pulling it back. Press the bolt release, located on receiver at the left side of the bolt, and slide the bolt out of the weapon.
Turn your Mauser over and use your screwdriver to remove the magazine plate. Slowly remove the magazine plate since there is a spring underneath it. Unscrew the trigger assembly and remove. Separate the stock from the rifle receiver.
Place the rifle receiver onto the replacement stock and install the trigger assembly and magazine plate in the same way that they were attached to the original stock.
Rail Mount Installation
Place your pin punch against the rear sight retention pin located on the left side of the ladder sight; the retention pin acts as the pivot for the ladder sight. Lightly tap your pin punch with your hammer and tap out the retention pin. Remove the ladder sight.
Place the base of your Weaver style rail mount into the rear sight mount, previously occupied by the ladder sight.
Insert the mount retention screw through the pin hole and fasten the screw with the provided nut.
Attach a scope, equipped with Weaver style rings, to the rail mount.
