How to Install a Tapco Fusion Vertical Grip

Tapco is a company that manufactures grips for various handguns. One of these grips is the Fusion Vertical Grip and it is ribbed for greater support. These grips are designed to be upgrades to the stock grips that come equipped with the gun. That means you can remove the old grip and replace it with a Fusion Vertical Grip yourself.

Things You'll Need

Phillips screwdriver

Instructions

  Ensure that your weapon is unloaded. Disassemble it according to the instruction manual.

  Locate the grip connector bushing inside the grip assembly and push it in as far as it will go and hold it there.

  Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw at the bottom of the grip assembly.

  Pull the grip assembly off of the weapon while continuing to hold down the connector bushing. When the grip assembly is removed, the bushing should be protruding slightly out of the weapon.

  Flip open the bottom cover of the Tapco grip assembly and remove the included grip screw.

  Push the grip screw through the hole in the top of the grip assembly.

  Thread the grip screw into the bushing while holding the end of the screw in place with your finger.

  Use the screwdriver to tighten the screw and close the bottom cover of the grip assembly.
