How to Mount a Scope Base on a Benelli Sbe

The Benelli Super Black Eagle (SBE) shotguns are excellent sporting weapons. The Benelli SBE slug models are designed for hunting medium to big game. They have screw holes drilled and taped into the top of the upper receiver forinstalling a scope base. Mounting a weaver style scope base will give you the freedom to quickly attach, or remove, a scope from your shotgun. Before installing a scope base to your shotgun, make absolutely sure that your weapon is not loaded.

• Weaver style scope mount
• Small flathead screwdriver

     Use your small flat screwdriver to remove the plug screws located in the mounting screw holes. The function of the screws is to prevent moisture from getting into the screw-holes when they're not being used for mounting a scope.

     Position your rail mount on the top of your shotgun and align the holes in the mount with the screw-holes in the shotgun.

     Use the supplied screws to secure your rail mount to your shotgun. Your shotgun is now ready to accept weaver style scope rings.
